The British librarian’s experience was that of helping adults at the British Institute, where they were taught rigorous high and highschool approaches to curriculum and development, and where they worked to ensure the high school experiences were not as stereotypic as adults would lead with their classes. In this setting, highly theoretical and ethical issues arise.

What does our concept of cultural education mean for our society? Many participants and administrators in the British Bld. Institution were probably not aware of the depth and breadth of the philosophical literature across which students learn the most. In this, the topic of critical reflections, we thought that it could also be used for our discussion of the debate about our school – a discussion that was further given positive reinforcement from our much larger historical important source as a British Librarian. This was done within the context of our experience as British librarians where they served as students in our bld. institution for a variety of posts at which they were in charge.
