Charlene Barshefsky Bekker Christian Bekker (born 2 March 1964) is a German chemist and an avant garde food scientist. He is the co-founder of the Department of Food & Plant Science at the School of Food Science, The University of Hesse. He has worked as research scientist at the Ludwigshafen in Lübeck, Hesse, Stuttgart and Stuttgart. Based on research from his work in the lab of Harald Rüle of Werner A.
