A recent conference session with the ACCWSAA Faculty and Principal/Executive Assistant Dean of Students, Susan Cepeda, has invited faculty, administration, and administration-wide fellows and faculty to talk about how faculty and administrators have supported the Boston, Massachusetts campus. “I had the great honor of talking to all this member faculty,” said Mary Hanks, Dean of the University of Massachusetts, “and the current members of the faculty and administration who host the conference, and this is very significant. I had the privilege to meet the faculty from Harvard Business School, faculty from the MSBA and other members of the Dean’s research team, because they are so passionate about their university and the career that I’ve created here.” The event is organized by ACCWSAA, their institutional leadership program focused on fostering the work of effective team building. ACCWSAA currently leads the team building program at Harvard, and also is an executive officer for the second-tier MSA at Harvard. The conference was sponsored by ACCWSAA’s Department of Higher Education in Boston, Massachusetts, and was held in conjunction with the ACCWSAA’s Committee to Better Information. The speakers in the conference are faculty and administration executives from the Boston University, MSA, and an organization network of several hundred business, government and other leaders who serve the campus. Over the coming months, ACCWSAA will continue its ongoing mission to improve student retention and job satisfaction.
