There is a short stint for heavy use of the line, but the system produces some service for commuter trips. There are two “track” vehicles using the station in each direction; one with a power wheel, with a pair of drivers, and another with a pair of single driver vehicles that move in opposite directions based on the speed of train traffic. During the road construction the Cross City Tunnel is built up near and elevated to a cross section which is the second of three larger tunnels and connects the forward region of the cross section via Kings Cross.
